For \(a\in {\mathbb{C}}\) and \(a>-1/4\), \(a\neq 0\), a modification of a limit periodic continued fraction for accelerating the convergence is known. This acceleration remains modest if this convergence is only logarithmic. The authors propose to apply an Euler summability method to the series equivalent to the continuous fraction.
