The flow of a subsonic stream over a flat plate with a triangular vibrator fixed to it is studied. The vibrator begins to oscillate in the unperturbed boundary layer. The plate and vibrator are assumed to be heat insulated, and the vibrator dimensions are such that the flow can be defined by equations of the boundary layer with selfinduced pressure. The amplitude is assumed to be small, which enables these equations to be linearized. The Fourier and Laplace transformations respectively are used for the construction with respect to the longitudinal coordinate and time. Inverse transformations are investigated only for fixed values of the longitudinal coordinate and time approaching infinity. The amplitude of the pressure oscillations, which depends on the longitudinal coordinate, is obtained.
