The author gives an extension of his results in Pac. J. Math. 105, 143- 181 (1983; Zbl 0571.14010) to the case of non-abelian L-series. These L- series L(\(\rho\),s) belong to Artin characters \(\rho\) of \(G=Gal(\bar K:K)\), where K is a global function field. They are functions on a certain topological group \(S_{\infty}\) which has to be considered as a substitute for the complex numbers. In the cited article, the author has developed a theory for L(\(\rho\),s) (\(\rho\) abelian) which contains features analogous with the complex as well as the p-adic theory in the number theoretic case. He obtained, for each \(\rho\), a holomorphic continuation of L(\(\rho\),s) to the whole ''complex plane \(S_{\infty}''\), the holomorphicity at \(s=1\) being due to the fact that the residue vanishes mod p. In the present article, these results are generalized by Brauer induction to arbitrary characters \(\rho\). Further, some consequences on trivial zeroes of L(\(\rho\),s) are derived.
