Let \(\Gamma\) be a subgroup of a connected complex nilpotent Lie group \(G\) acting on \(G\) by right translations. Suppose that any \(\Gamma\)-invariant holomorphic function on \(G\) is constant. The following theorems are proved. Any \(\Gamma\)-invariant analytic hypersurface on \(G\) is invariant under the commutator subgroup \(G^ 1\) of \(G\). Any \(\Gamma^ n\)-invariant holomorphic function on \(G^ n\) is constant, where \(G^ n\) is defined by \(G^ 0=G\), \(G^ n=(G,G^{n-1}).\) The second assertion is not true for solvable groups.
