Important functions in a mathematical sense are evaluated by solving ordinary differential equations that the functions satisfy. In this method, the function and its derivatives are approximated by each linear combination of Haar functions. There exist mathematical relations in the coefficients of these Haar function systems between, before and after integration, so that an approximation of the function can be determined by referring to these relations. The solution contains errors due to a stair-step approximation.
