This paper considers the problem of the influence of fuzzy implication operators and the connective ALSO on the accuracy of a fuzzy model of a d.c. series motor. By adopting a root-mean-square error as the model's adequacy to the real system the best typical fuzzy relations are selected. In the first part ten couples of fuzzy relations are studied.
