Volterra functional equations via projective techniques (Q1069096): Difference between revisions

A class of projective metrics on ordered linear spaces comprising \textit{A. C. Thompson}'s one as a particular case [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 14, 438-443 (1963; Zbl 0147.349)] is introduced by means of monotone semigroups, and some nonlinear Volterra functional equations - not reductible in general to standard techniques - are investigated.
