A spectrally accurate solution for the three dimensional Poisson equation and the Helmholtz equation using Chebyshev series and Fourier series is obtained here for a simple domain in a cylindrical coordinate system. The boundary conditions considered are of Dirichlet, Neumann or general mixed type - homogeneous or otherwise. The theory is supported amply by numerical computations.
