This short review indicates that the prediction of turbulent flows may be performed through the resolution of a set of partial differential equations of the same type. The number of equations and the nonlinear source terms included depends on the level adopted for the prediction. We propose a possible algorithm to perform the resolution of coupled partial differential equations taking into account the nonlinear terms suggested by turbulence modeling.
