Periodic solutions of hyperbolic partial differential equations (Q5903097): Difference between revisions

Periodic boundary value problems associated with the hyperbolic partial differential equation \(u_{tx}=f(t,x,u,u_ t,u_ x)\) are considered in the work. Constructive methods for obtaining multiple solutions are given. Appropriate partial differential inequalities are developed and then employed to derive the iterative schemes which yield the desired solutions. Next periodic boundary value problems associated with the first order partial differential equations \(u_ t+f(t,x)u_ x=g(t,x,u)\) are considered.
