The properties of convex fuzzy sets defined on the Euclidean space \(E^ n\) are proved. Let \(\lambda\) and \(\mu\) be convex fuzzy sets on E with dim \(E\geq 2\) and \(S_ H(\lambda)=S_ H(\mu)\) for each hyperplane H. If \(\lambda\) and \(\mu\) are open or closed sets relative to induced fuzzy topology (maybe one is open and another is closed), then \(\lambda =\mu\); if \({\tilde \lambda}\) and \({\tilde \mu}\) denote their fuzzy open-convex (closed-convex) hull, respectively, then \({\tilde \lambda}={\tilde \mu}\); if \(\lambda\) and \(\mu\) are fuzzy compact relative to the induced topology \({\mathcal T}\), then \(\lambda =\mu\). The direct proofs of two theorems, which describe the relation between the fuzzy convex cone and the fuzzy subspace, established by \textit{R. Lowen} [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 3, 291-310 (1980; Zbl 0439.52001)], are given.
