Let R be a discrete valuation ring with residue field k. An equivalent form of Gersten's conjecture [\textit{S. M. Gersten}, Algebr. K-theory I, Proc. Conf. Battelle Inst. 1972, Lecture Notes Math. 341, 211-249 (1973; Zbl 0289.18011)] is that the maps \(K_ q(k)\to K_ q(R)\) are the zero map for all \(q\geq 0\). The author proves the analogous conjecture for K- theory with coefficients namely, the maps \(K_ q(k,{\mathbb{Z}}/n)\to K_ q(R,{\mathbb{Z}}/n)\) are the zero map for all \(q\geq 0\) whenever char k does not divide n. From this, Gersten's conjecture for K-theory with coefficients follows for regular local rings which are smooth over a discrete valuation ring and char k not dividing n.
