The full set of gauge-invariants is found for three models respectively: 1) Scalar electrodynamics, 2) Model with gauge group SU(2) in the fundamental representation, 3) Model with gauge group SU(2) in the contragradient representation. It provides an effective parametrization of equivalent classes of configurations. The authors also show that the whole canonical structure of the theory and field dynamics can be formulated in terms of hydrodynamical quantities. It seems to be a good starting point for canonical quantization of gauge field models in terms of invariants.
