Let D be a bounded plane domain with boundary consisting of the union of \(n+1\) analytic nonself-intersecting Jordan curves \(\Gamma_ 0\cup...\cup \Gamma_ n\). We take \(\Gamma_ 0\) to be the outer boundary, and we denote the interior of \(\Gamma_ 0\) by \(D_ 0\) and the exterior of \(\Gamma_ i\) by \(D_ i.\) Let \(\omega\) be harmonic measure for D relative to a fixed point \(\zeta\in D\). Set \(H^ 2(D)\) equal to the closure in \(L^ 2(\Gamma,\omega)\) of the set A of continuous functions on \(\Gamma\) with analytic extensions into D. Denote the orthogonal projection from \(L^ 2(\Gamma,\omega)\) onto \(H^ 2(D)\) by P. For \(\phi\) a real valued element of \(L^{\infty}(\Gamma,\omega)\), we form the Toeplitz' operator \(T_{\phi}=PM_{\phi}\) on \(H^ 2(D)\). Where \(M_{\phi}x=\phi x\) for \(x\in L^ 2(\Gamma,\omega).\) This paper will study spectral properties of \(T_{\phi}\) and especially the relationship between these Toeplitz operators and the pair \(\{T_{\phi}\oplus I,M_ z\}\) on \(L^ 2(\Gamma,\omega)\). The starting point of our investigation is the fact that \([T_{\phi}\oplus I,M_ z]\in C_ 1\).
