Supersonic inviscid flow over nonaxisymmetric bodies is considered. A new version of the method of reference planes is used. In this version, a near characteristics-streamlines coordinate system and a highly efficient numerical integration scheme is developed. The Courant-Friedrichs-Levy condition is rigorously satisfied on the flow. Several sample calculations are presented.
