On the approximation of some nonlinear equations (Q1819719): Difference between revisions

We study the problem of approximating the solutions of the polynomial equation of degree k in a Banach space over a field F. Using the solutions of finite rank polynomial equations, we show that the problem is equivalent to solving an algebraic system of degree k in a suitable N- tuple of F.
