    Verf. studiert die Existenz, den Ort und die Stabilität von periodischen Umlaufbahnen der konkurrierenden und kooperativen autonomen GDG-Systeme: \(x'=f(x)\), \(x\in U\subset R^ n\). Besondere Aufmerksamkeit wird der Existenz von unveränderlichen Mannigfaltigkeiten, die zu periodischen Kreisbahnen gehören, gewidmet. Diese Ergebnisse werden dann zur Verbesserung des Hirschschen Ergebnisses für dreidimensionale irreduzieble konkurrierende und kooperative Systeme benützt. Das Hauptresultat ist in dem folgenden Satz erhalten: Es sei \({\mathcal L}\) eine kompakte \(\alpha\) oder \(\omega\) Grenzmenge eines irreduzieblen kooperativen oder konkurrierenden Systems in \(R^ 3\). Wenn \({\mathcal L}\) kein Gleichgewicht enthält, ist \({\mathcal L}\) eine geschlossene Kreisbahn. Die Theorie wird mit einem Beispiel illustriert.
