The aim of the article is to study the quasistatic evolution of a three- dimensional elastic-perfectly plastic solid which satisfies the Prandtl- Reuss law. It is shown that the stress and displacement satisfy the constitutive law. The Prandtl-Reuss law is obtained by making in an elastic-visco-plastic model the viscosity parameter to tend towards zero.
