A simple finite wake model for free streamline flow past a split plate is considered. An inverse problem is solved analytically by Riemann-Hilbert techniques. Numerical results for drag/lift are compared with experimental data for spoilers and split flaps and with theoretical results obtained earlier. Wakes of zero drag and wake overpressure are discussed.
