Free vibrations of cylindrical shells with ring-stiffeners are studied in detail using the PLK method in singular perturbations and the general Hale law. Formulas for calculating the natural frequencies of cylindrical shells with ring-stiffeners are given. Finally, a finite element solution is also given to prove the perturbation solution to be commendable and this comparison shows that the method yields very good results.
