A particle model is developed for the simulation of the cavity problem. The approach is formulated mathematically as an n-body problem which incorporates gravity and classical molecular type forces. Systems of 946 second-order, ordinary differential equations are generated and solved numerically on a vector computer. Examples are described and discussed.
