The problem studied by the author [cf., ibid., 617-644 (1985; Zbl 0589.46053)] is to find necessary and sufficient conditions one has to impose on two n-tuples of normal states \((\omega_ 1,...,\omega_ n)\), \((\sigma_ 1,...,\sigma_ n)\) on a von Neumann algebra \({\mathfrak M}\) such that \(\omega_ k=\sigma_ k\circ T\), where T is completely positive map. For \({\mathfrak M}\) being a properly infinite AFD factor these conditions are related to the unitary mixing problem on a generating UHF algebra. With other words the action of a stochastic map on normal states can be replaced by a unitary mixing with respect to \(C^*\)-subalgebra of \({\mathfrak M}\).
