The authors start with different definitions of fuzzy topological groups and makes a comparative study of them; some properties of ordinary subgroups and fuzzy subgroups have been dealt with. The authors accept the definition of compactness for a fuzzy topological space in terms of Q-covers and study Q-compact fuzzy topological groups.
