    Après des notions introductives, qui sont d'usage courant, il est question de deux systèmes de deux équations. - Pour le premier \[ (1)\quad u_ t+h(u,v)_ x=0,\quad v_ t+g(u,v)_ x=0, \] pour lequel l'auteur vient de résoudre le problème de Cauchy [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 299, 555-558 (1984; Zbl 0578.35055)], on prouve l'existence d'une droite \(\Delta\), telle que chacun des demi-plans séparés par \(\Delta\) est un domaine invariant pour le système (1). - Le deuxième, c'est le système de l'élasticité \[ ({\mathcal E})\quad u_ t-v_ x=0,\quad v_ t-\sigma (u)_ x=0, \] où v(x,t) est la vitesse, u(x,t) est l'allongement; et la fonction de tension \(\sigma\) est impaire, de classe \(C^ 2\), telle que \(\sigma\) '(u)\(\geq \alpha^ 2>0\) pour tout \(u\in R\). Nous obtiennent le résultat suivant: Sous l'hypothèse \(u\sigma ''(u)>0\), si \(u\neq 0\) et \(\sigma \prime''(0)>0\), les domaines définis par \(R+| A(u)| /2\leq v\leq S-| A(u)| /2\), où \({\mathcal S}\) et \({\mathcal R}\) sont deux constantes réelles et \(A(u)=2\int^{u}_{0}\sqrt{\sigma '(s)} ds\), sont invariantes pour les solutions faibles de (\({\mathcal E})\).
