The author produces completeness proofs for certain weak modal logics discussed by \textit{J. Porte} [Logique Anal., Nouv. Sér. 23, 3-34 (1980; Zbl 0452.03015) and ibid. 24, 399-406 (1981; Zbl 0494.03010)]. These are extensions of S0.5 and make use of `semi-normal' worlds in which the falsity of LA implies the falsity of A in some accessible world, but the truth of LA does not imply the truth of A in all accessible worlds. The author shows that straightforward Henkin methods yield completeness results for the appropriate systems.
