In this important paper, the authors study degenerate Hopf bifurcation of \(\dot x+F(x,\lambda)=0\) where F commutes with a linear action of 0(2) on \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\). Ideas from singularity theory are used to consider the recognition, classification and unfolding problems.
