The nonlinear wave equation \(u_{tt}-\Delta u+f(| u|)u=0\) with appropriate hypotheses on the function f is considered and some particular solutions are analyzed. In the case of \(f=| u|\) 2, an integration technique to approximate radially symmetric solutions is applied. As an approximation basis, Bessel functions are used and the collocation points are the related zeroes.
