We define classes of operators which slightly extend the adjoint of the Cowen Douglas classes and the elements of which may be represented by multiplication by \(\lambda\) in certain reproducing kernel spaces of analytic functions; symmetric simple densely defined (resp. isometric simple operators) with equal and finite deficiency indices and the adjoints of the elements in the Cowen Douglas classes \(B_ n(\Omega)\) emerge as special cases.
