The authors are concerned with linear controllers of nonlinear plants, e.g. plants with input saturation. They treat the case when both input and output of the isolated static nonlinearity can be measured. The conditioning technique of the first author [Contribution à la théorie des régulateurs conditionnés. Thèse du doctorat, Fac. Sci. Appl., Univ. Libre de Bruxelles, Belgique] is extended to MIMO nonlinear systems. Applications to cascaded and parallel structures are given.
