The uniqueness of limit cycles for the vector-field \[ \dot x=x^ q(\lambda x+Bxy+\epsilon x^ 3),\quad \dot y=x^ q(1/4-x^ 2-y^ 2), \] where \(\epsilon\), \(\lambda\) are small real parameters and B is a positive number is considered. It is proved that the uniqueness result holds for all positive B and therefore no restrictions on B has to be made. In some publications it was reported that there are restrictions on B \((B\geq 1/2\), for example).
