    L'article établit le théorème suivant: Une métrique Riemannienne g dans \({\mathbb{R}}^ 2\) de classe \(C^ 2\) telle que: a) g est sans points conjugués; b) g et la métrique Euclidienne \(g_ 0=dx^ 2+dy^ 2\) sont asymptotiques lorsque \(r=(x^ 2+y^ 2)^{1/2}\to \infty\). C'est- à-dire \(\lim _{r\to \infty}(g-g_ 0)=0\quad et\quad \nabla _ 0(g- g_ 0).r^ 2\) est borné. c) La courbure de Gauss de g est une fonction intégrable dans \({\mathbb{R}}^ 2\). Alors g et \(g_ 0\) sont isométriques. La méthode utilisée est adaptée de E. Hopf.
