The authors investigate the mathematical properties of the thrombopoiesis model presented in Part I, see the preceding review, Zbl 0645.92005, which is described by a differential system involving von Foerster type partial differential equations. Apart from the existence, uniqueness and continuity properties of nonnegative solutions, they establish conditions for the existence of a unique equilibrium and for its asymptotic stability, too.
