The author establishes convergence and divergence problems of multiple Walsh-Paley Fourier series in the space E. Analogous problems for multiple trigonometric Fourier series were proved by \textit{L. V. Zhizhiashvili}, Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 199, 1234-1236 (1971; Zbl 0259.42033). Author established the first theorem on the line of \textit{N. J. Fine} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 65, 372-414 (1949; Zbl 0036.036)]. On putting \(N=1\) in Theorem 2, we get the Theorem proved by \textit{A. M. Olevskij}, Fourier series with respect to general orthogonal systems, (1975; Zbl 0321.42010). In this paper, author establishes some new results on this line.
