Sei q eine Primzahl. Die Gruppe G(\(\sqrt{q})\) ist definiert durch G(\(\sqrt{q}):=W^{-1}N(\Gamma_ 0(q))W\), wobei \(W=\left( \begin{matrix} 1\\ 0\end{matrix} \begin{matrix} 0\\ \sqrt{q}\end{matrix} \right)\) und \(N(\Gamma_ 0(q))\) der Normalisator der Kongruenzuntergruppe \(\Gamma_ 0(q)\) der Modulgruppe in SL(2,\({\mathbb{R}})\) ist. Der Autor beschreibt (ohne Beweise) seine Ergebnisse über die Klassifikation der normalen Kongruenzuntergruppen von G(\(\sqrt{q})\). Dadurch werden die Ergebnisse von \textit{L. A. Parson} [Pac. J. Math. 70, 481-487 (1977; Zbl 0375.10014)] erweitert. Grundlage ist die Klassifikation der Normalteiler der Modulgruppe von \textit{D. L. McQuillan} [Am. J. Math. 87, 285-296 (1967; Zbl 0135.065)].
