The purpose of this paper is to give a slight generalization of the interpolation problem of \textit{H. Dym} and \textit{I. Gohberg} [Operator Theory: Adv. and Appl. 29, 117-150 (1988)]. Here the Wiener space condition is dropped and the blocks are allowed to be infinite dimensional. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a solution of the new problem is obtained by the commutant lifting theorem and the Davis-Kaplan-Weinberg filling theorem.
