The paper deals with the integral and numerical methods for solving a boundary value problem involving reflection of the argument. The author presents an iterative scheme for generating a sequence of functions which converge to the exact solution and an algorithm for computing approximate solutions with desired accuracy. On the basis of four examples he discusses the rate of convergence and demonstrates the effectiveness of the algorithm. In my opinion the methods presented in the paper are of great importance since finite difference methods are not effective for the considered problem.
