    Motivated by the elegant \(H^{\infty}\) optimization approach to feedback design for linear systems the authors present a similar theory for nonlinear systems. The plant, compensator as well as the perturbations to the plant are nonlinear. Sufficient conditions are presented which garantee that the compensator stabilizes the plant as well as the perturbed plant. The paper is concluded with a simple example which shows how the results can be applied.
