On codimension one submersions of Euclidean spaces (Q1118237): Difference between revisions

The paper discusses submersions f: \(R^ n\to R^{n-1}\). Examples where f has both circles and straight lines as leaves are given. It is proven that if the first derivatives of f satisfy certain inequalities all the leaves of f are straight lines.
