This paper reviews some of the categories proposed as models for fuzzy sets that have been proposed by Ponasse and his students. Reviewer's comment: It is very irritating, to say the least, to see references to unpublished and unrefereed internal notes on the same footing as authentically published papers. Moreover, at least one assertion is incorrect: the reviewer's Fuz(H) - a logos - is not isomorphic to Goguen's Set(V). A widely circulated manuscript (dated 1981) has shown how to modify the definition of equality in Fuz(H) to obtain a topos that is isomorphic to Higgs' Set(H).
