The author shows that if there is an ovoid in \(\Omega^+(10,3)\), then for each point s of the ovoid, the space \(s^{\perp}/s\) of type \(\Omega^+(8,3)\) would contain an ovoid. The ovoids in \(\Omega^+(8,3)\) are known. By examining their properties carefully, the author is able to obtain a contradiction.
