On the background of spatial bilinear finite element and two-level time discretization for the Fokker-Planck equation modelling weakly turbulent plasmas, the authors consider the solution of nonsymmetric linear systems by SOR. The unknowns are divided into four classes (coloured using for colours) to allow for vectorization. Parallelization is brought about by domain decomposition. The paper gives details of the implementation and results of computational experiments.
