A numerical method is proposed to solve initial value problems involving higher order ordinary differential equations converting it easily into a system of Volterra integral equations. An algorithm is presented and theoretically justified. The advantage claimed over other traditional methods is that this can be used even with singularities at the initial point. Numerical results are compared and it is noted that it requires more storage and CPU time but its accuracy is far better than in other methods.
