\textit{B. Simon} [Commun. Math. Phys. 23, 37-48 (1971; Zbl 0238.70012)] studied the dynamics of a particle described by \(\ddot x=f(x(t))\) with initial conditions \(x(0)=x_ 0\in {\mathbb{R}}^ n\), \(\dot x(0)=v_ 0\in {\mathbb{R}}^ n\). In this paper the author studies the scattering theory for a particle moving in \(R^ n\) where f is a time dependent force \(f(x(t),t),\) basing on the ideas of Simon.
