The critical percolation probability on the 2D square lattice with several types of defects is investigated. A lower bound for this probability is obtained by means of the more general so-called ``generations method'' developed earlier by the first author [see Komb. Anal. 7, 5-13 (1986; Zbl 0706.60098)]. The ``generations method'' can be applied to more general percolation problems on rather general graphs. One of the important advantages of this method is that it gives an explicit algorithmic way to obtain estimates for the critical probabilities which can be evaluated on a computer. Simple analytical arguments allow to reduce essentially the computations.
