This paper is one of a series by the author, alone or with various collaborators, on the centralizer near-ring determined by a module M over a ring R: \(M_ R(M)=\{f: G\to G|\) \(f(ar)=(fa)r\), \(a\in M\), \(r\in R\}\). Here it is shown that if R is a principal ideal domain and M is finitely generated as R-module, then every element of \(M_ R(M)\), when restricted to a maximal cyclic submodule, can be induced by an R- endomorphism of M.
