    Sei com L die Menge der Kommutatoren eines orthomodularen Verbandes L und \(com_ 0L=com L-\{0,1\}\). MO2 ist eine Unteralgebra von L genau dann, wenn \(1\in com L\) gilt. Die Bedingung \(1\in com L\) folgt aus den Annahmen L ist kommutator-endlich, V com L\(=1\) und \(com_ 0L\) ist total ungeordnet. Ferner wird gezeigt, daß die Bedingungen \(| com_ 0L| >1\), \(1\not\in com L\), \(a\vee b=1\) für alle \(a,b\in com_ 0L\) eine Unteralgebra M von L charakterisieren, die von com L erzeugt ist, com M\(=com L\) erfüllt und eine projektive Ebene ist.
