The author considers quadrature methods (being reducible to linear multistep methods for ordinary differential equations) to construct an approximate solution of the integral equation with delay argument \(y(x)=\Phi (0)+\int^{x}_{0}(py(s)+qy(s-\tau))ds,\) \(y(x)=\Phi (x),\quad x\in [-\tau,0).\) Stability regions for one-step methods are studied. Examples are given.
