The authors generalize the following from the two point setting (0 and infinity) to several points: 1) Explicit formulas for approximants in terms of the functional defined by its values on \((z-a_ k)^{-m}\). The formulas involve what the authors call Szegö rationals obtained by using the Gram-Schmidt procedure to the basis functions above with the scalar product generated by the functional. 2) The case when the functional is a positive measure and the formal series in several points that are approximated are in fact the Stieltjes transform of the measure.
