New results are obtained concerning the regularity of the solutions to the Stokes equations in unbounded domains in \(R^ n\), which extend those obtained in 1961 by L. Catabriga. An existence theorem is obtained, and an application to the steady slow motion of a viscous fluid past a sphere is given in the last part.
