Let G be the group of proper isometries of the Euclidean plane, endowed with the Haar measure dg. Fixing a point O of the plane, one denotes by \(| g|\), \(g\in G\), the distance between O and gO. For any real \(k>0\) and integer \(p>0\) one defines the Banach space \(L^ p_ k\) consisting of the measurable functions f on G with the finite norm \((\int_{G}| f|^ pe^{-k| g|}dg)^{1/p}\), and the inductive limit \(L^ p_*=\cup_{k>0}L^ p_ k\). The author describes all the biinvariant closed linear subspaces of \(L^ p_*\). A similar result for the group \(G=SL_ 2({\mathbb{R}})\) was obtained by \textit{P. Rashevskij} [Tr. Mosk. Mat. O.-va 38, 139-185 (1979; Zbl 0438.46019)].
